Hidden inside the eyes of their wings, butterflies carry mystery, meaning and the symbolization of spiritual creativity. They are the symbol of beauty, change, healing, endless potential and transformation. The magnificent, yet short life of the butterfly closely mirrors the process of spiritual transformation and serves to remind us that life is short.

The S.K Gloss community has used the butterfly to symbolize these same feelings (with added minerals, of course) inside of every lip gloss bottle created. We can't forget to thank the 22 year old enterpreneur, Kiara Hernandez, who founded this brand! By telling her story through her YouTube Channel and other social media accounts, via Official Kia, Kiara was able to begin her steps towards her own brand. Now, she spends her free time making sure that each bottle of SK Gloss is sanitized, customized and created perfectly to make your self-care journey easier!

"I began using the blue butterfly to symbolize my sister, Giselle, who passed away in 2011. Butterfly wings seemed to explain the beauty she carried better than anything else. Giselle and I planned many goals together that we never got to accomplish. Although she's no longer here, I'm willing to do whatever I can to follow our plans & make her dreams come true.
